Who are we? At Wholly Horses, we live and breathe horses. For Pru Cotton, that all started over fifty years ago when, at the age of two, she fell in love with her first pony, Curly. Retired from a career with Ashton’s Circus, Curly – a loveable character with an impressive bag of tricks – proceeded to teach Pru all he knew about the wisdom and intelligence of the horse. This loveable little pony was succeeded by many others, and all helped Pru develop a profound insight into the psyche of the horse, and to master a level of horsemanship that has allowed her to compete at a high level in local and national equestrian events. She has trained with some of the world’s foremost equestrian trainers, and holds a level 7 Liberty Master Class qualification through Harris Entertainment. Wholly Horses was created out of the deep love and respect that Pru has for her horses, and from the joy she receives when horse and rider experience total harmony.
